The long awaited arrival of the Vuzix AV310 has arrived and is in stock. If you own an IPod including IPod touch you need to look into these Video Glasses.

The Vuzix AV310 will connect to almost any video device and project an image into your headset equal to viewing a 52" screen at 9' away. Independent focus adjustments allow for optimal viewing of 2D and 3D movies.

You can use the AV310's on the following:

  • IPod Touch
  • IPod Classic
  • IPod with Video
  • IPod Nano (3G)
  • Portable DVD players
  • Video Cameras
  • Cell phones w/video output
  • Game consoles
  • Laptop Computers with S-Video output
  • Portable Media Players
  • Digital Cameras

For a complete immersive experience into the VR world, don't forget the Vuzix eyeshields for your unit that will eliminate most of the surrounding light that enters into the Video Glasses. You will be glad you did.

And by the way, we are awaiting the release of the new AV230xl model. An upgrade to the original AV230 which is hard to find anymore.

With unmatched quality and performance, the iWear AV230 XL delivers a virtual display equivalent to a 44-inch screen at a very affordable price. MSRP of $199.95.

We would be glad to hear your comments on the Vuzix line of Video Glasses. A personal friend of mine has MD (macular degeneration) and loves to watch movies using my Vuzix headset. The TV is usually too far from him to be able to scan the screen effectively, but with the headgear, simple eye movements allow him to see more of what he has been missing.

I would love to get him set up with the Vuzix LV920 made especially for MD patients and those with low vision, but that is in the future for him due to budget constraints. If you have MD or know someone who does have them ask their doctor about these vision aids from Vuzix.
